January 5th, 2006...Neil proposed and I said "yes!" We had been snowshoeing in a forest in Tahoe and were the only ones around as far as we could see, when Neil suggested we stop for a snack. We sat down on a log and he reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring. This pic was taken minutes afterwards, with the camera resting on a "tripod" of gloves and beanie :)
