fall is here...

...and zoom, it's November already. Well with lots of rain this past weekend, it's starting to feel like cookie-baking weather again. For Neil's mom's birthday, we made her an edible birthday card out of lemon cookies:

Halloween was more fall fun ~ we got to play aunty and uncle, taking some friends' kids around the neighborhood. I had forgotten how fast little legs can run for candy. These little guys zipped around the block without blinking an eye and still wanted to go for more but we sadly had to dampen their triathlon spirits and take them home to count their booty. Here's the vet and the pirate counting up their stash:

The rain didn't stop for our friends who were moving into their new place but we had fun. Here's one of the more memorable manoevres of the day (sorry, my first time videoing on this camera... you'll have to tilt your head :)
